Blüemlisalp 3657m
Easy alpine tour in a beautiful and world famous mountain formation. Starting point is Kandersteg. On the first day we will hike up to the Blüemlisalp Hut. The tour to the hut can easily be done without mountain guide. If we are lucky we may see some Steinwild. After an early start on the second day we will make our way from the Blüemlisalp Hut up to the Blüemlisalp glacier. Staying to the east we pass "ufem Stock" and carry on until we reach the saddle between "Ufem Stock" and the "Wyssi Frou". After descending just a little we will find ourselves in a glacier cavity at the foot of the Blüemlisalphorn. From here we follow the rocky and later snowy north east ridge to the summit.
